Came through Cornwall during the BBQ festival. Everything hotel/motel was sold out except Fairview Inn. They had 1 room available so we took it un-seen. When we got there to pay for the room, their credit card machine would not work so we had to go get cash to pay. The room was supposed to be a Non-Smoking room but it reaked of cigarettes. We didn't have any other choices but to stay. Here are the issues with the room:
We sprayed aerosol to tolerate the room smell. Curtails on the window were barely hanging on. TV did not work. Shampoo and soap containers were previously used. No hanger for the toilet paper. Spiders on the ceilings. And finally it looked like the sheets had not been changed so we slept on top of them.
Bottom line, this is not a place you want to stay unless it's your last choice. This is a $30 motel that we had to pay $80.
